Listen to the show :

Whether you call them goosebumps or cold shivers, this week on TrekRanks you will be experiencing them. We are going to make the hair on your arms stand up as we break down our Top 5 Chill-Inducing Moments in Star Trek history! Host Jim Moorhouse and guest Adam Drosin get emotional for a full hour of Trek's most thrilling and emotional moments! Get ready to feel your feelings in this TrekRanks deep dive!

This week's show skips the normal Diagnostic Cycle and dives straight into the Prime Directive, as Jim and Adam highlight exactly what a chill-inducing moment is to them. They also both pick a chill-inducing moment from non-Trek pop culture to preview their picks. From there, the duo dive straight into The Order of Things.

Of course, one segment is not enough to contain all the emotion in this episode, so this week's Secondary Systems is chock full of additional picks to get you on the verge of tears. Once everyone has regained their composure, Jim briefly reviews some of the interesting statistical anomalies that emerged from the selections in the Regeneration Cycle.

The episode concludes with a visit into a Temporal Causality Loop as we flashback to Episode 45 for feedback on our Top 5 Weirdest Characters. We also hear a subspace transmission from one of our listeners celebrating Episode 47 of TrekRanks, the bootleg edition of the show from the Mirror Universe.

As always, make sure to hail us at 609-512-LLAP (5527) and record your own personal TrekRanks log to let us know your Top 5 Chill-Inducing Moments. Your comments might be used via a Temporal Causality Loop in an upcoming episode.
