Listen to the show :

With the launch of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds upon us, TrekRanks previews the new series with a quintessential Trek topic: the "Top 5 Spock Episodes." Spock has been forever present in Trek, from the very first scene through the Kelvin Timeline films, and even Star Trek: Discovery. With Strange New Worlds he is about to become the first character in Trek history to be a regular on three different live-action series, and our panel of host Jim Moorhouse and guests Debbie Moltisanti and Chris Burris explore every angle of the legendary character.

Episode Rundown:

Level One Diagnostic Cycle: In our 15th character deep-dive episode, we begin with a roll call of past character topics, and then ask our panel to each give one word that they think best describes Spock.

Prime Directive: Everyone gets into the specific details on how they defined their lists and made their final picks.

The Order of Things: Everyone reveals their picks with the usual "Five words and a hashtag" summary and the episode or moment they are highlighting for Spock.

Secondary Systems: Our guests list a few additional selections for the picks that just missed our lists.

Regeneration Cycle: Everyone recaps their picks we discuss some of the interesting statistical anomalies that arose from the discussion.

Temporal Distortion: We flashback to a voicemail with picks from our topic "The Top 5 Episodes that Feel Like TOS" way back in Episode 98.

If you have your own picks you would like to relay to us, please hail us at 609-512-LLAP (5527) and record your own personal TrekRanks log to let us know your Top 5 Spock Episodes.
